These are 18 karat gold Paula Crevoshay opal split earrings. Paula
Crevoshay is a world renowned jewelry designer. She has a permanent
installation in the Smithsonian Institute and in 1989, won the Spectrum
Award, which is equivalent to the Academy Awards in the jewelry design
industry.

These opals (total 18.25 karats) are natural splits, which means that they
have not been polished at all. The top stone is cabochon aquamarine (total
0.99 karats) and the stone below it is cabochon rainbow moonstone (total
2.95 karats). The color range of blues represented in these opals are
extraordinary and quite magnificent. They are definitely head turners and
attract many compliments. Paula's work has increased in value almost on a
yearly basis.
